Take one honest judge. He's a young attorney who has worked his way up the ladder of the justice system and was elected to the bench at a very young age, despite fierce competition from a colleague. Integrity and dedication to every case are his only companions; the only source of support for his growing career. Although he's young and single his work is his life, his career, and his one commitment.
Two incidents will turn his life around: a brief affair with a beautiful and mysterious woman, and the murder of a man he sent to prison. Although these are apparently unrelated, they have a sinister plot in common:and the consequences can be devastating.
He is deceived by the woman he loved, and when her ties to the murdered prisoner are revealed, he will be implicated in the crime and incarcerated. Realizing that the only way he can reveal the truth is by taking the law into his own hands, he begins to investigate the case while hiding from the system he once represented. He will search desperately for the person who was behind the lies and the betrayal:a person who remains in the shadows until the very end.
Throughout the story, the hunter will become the hunted:and destiny will turn a very honest judge into a victim of the judge system: a system the he once thought was infallible.
