Resume of Gloria Estefany Valbuena's life:
Gloria grew up in the countryside and paid her own way through college in the city. She graduated from law school, but has never had the opportunity to work in her profession and has survived by promoting different brands of cheeses and frankfurters in supermarkets. She is a fitting representative of the country's lower middle class; hard-working, intelligent, decided, tender, noble and spontaneous, but at times a bit clumsy and naive. Gloria is very romantic and essentially: lonely!

Resume of Esteban Marin's life:
Esteban is a famous millionaire and a member of the exclusive local jet-set. Heir to the country's largest telecommunications emporium, Celucom, he is well-known, besieged by the press, envied by many and desired by all. Esteban is happy, uncomplicated, generous, informal and good-hearted, but suffers from low self-esteem. He is a romantic, but essentially: lonely!

What can happen when two kindred spirits finally meet?
Love follows:
Along with problems: because since no happiness is ever complete, things between 'the prince and the commoner' become complicated and, after five years of dating and marriage, it seems the time has come for them to say farewell.
This is a story that starts from the end, the day when Esteban and Gloria meet in Family Court 93 to terminate their marriage and say goodbye forever. It seems that a mysterious event that occurred last New Year's Eve was the final straw, and they have decided to put an end to their great love. Only one thing can still save this love from dying; remembering how it was born!
As they explain to the judge the reasons for their separation, Gloria and Esteban will relive their past as they remember the history of their relationship: the day they met, when she tried to sell him a vacuum cleaner; their first date; their first kiss; how they consummated their love lost in an unexplored jungle; their first fight and their subsequent reconciliation; and how they were forced to confront everybody who tried to separate them: like Sol Amaya, the shrew who wanted to stay with Esteban, and Boris Garrido, a dangerous maniac obsessed with Gloria who swore to marry her whether she wanted to or not.
At the end of the trial, Gloria and Esteban will have to decide if they are going to continue together or not. They will have to test just how strong their love for each other really is and try to find a way to forgive each other in order to rescue the biggest love of their lives. Will the memory of this grand love save what seems to be already lost?
