Joy is 24 years old and has been a magazine covergirl fifteen times. But currently her career seems to be in a slump: her agent does not even recommend her for the preliminary competition of the famous 'Divine Contest". He believes that Joy's "old-fashioned" look does not have any chance. So Joy tries to be accepted for the competition by herself. As she needs new pictures, she goes out with star photographer Tom, but he expects more than Joy wants to give him. For this reason she sticks to Tom's assistant Christian for a shooting. Joy's friend Andrea accompanies her, and Just for fun Christian takes her picture, too. However, Andrea clandestinely submits the pictures for the "Divine Contest", which reveals that she is not as innocent as it looked before. She was only using Joy to get into the modeling business; finally she starts an affair with Tom, who is a member of the contest jury... Models tells about the everyday life of covergirls and about their dreams of becoming top models. A dream which almost never comes true...
