"Un Nuevo Amor"
Tells the story of Estrella Montiel, a beautiful young woman unaware of her past and true origin. Shortly after birth, she was given to a family who absolved themselves from all parental responsibilities by leaving her in the care of Candida, a poor woman who raised Estrella as her daughter. At 18, by chance Estrella meets Santiago Mendoza, a renowned lawyer who is married, but who has lost interest in love. From that moment, the attraction is immediate and they fall madly in love with each other. Unfortunately they cannot fulfill their love, as Estrella is sent to prison, and blames Santiago for not helping her. Later, Santiago realizes that Estrella has been unfairly convicted, so he uses all his power and contacts to have her released from prison. Once he succeeds turns away, believing she may never forgive him.
After a time, with an ironic twist of destiny and trying to find her true origin, Estrella is hired to work in Valentina?s home, a sensuous and powerful woman married to Anselmo and mother of two daughters. Valentina keeps in secret a painful past that has made her become a cruel human being. When she was young, Valentina was married to a wealthy and ruthless man named Eleazar and from this wedlock, a girl was born. After the birth of their daughter, Eleazar told Valentina that the baby had died, and secretly gave the child to the Montiel family.
Since that day, Valentina can not forget the death of her first daughter and has created an impenetrable wall of hate and resentment to overcome her intense sadness and loss of hope.
Santiago hurt by his love situation, meets Valentina with whom he starts a passionate relation, and is precisely in Valentina?s house where he encounters Estrella again, whom he has not forgotten. At this time, Estrella and Santiago, linger in the bliss of their intense romance. But loving will not be so easy since Valentina, is obsessed with Santiago, and will do everything under her power to impede their relationship.
Finally the truth is revealed... and the past exposed, revealing that the enemies in conflict, Estrella and Valentina, are actually mother and daughter. Now one of them will find true love. The chances are taken and the last word will be decide when the bonds of maternal love between them be proven.
