Along Verona's streets, two young people who believe in love walk. The whimsical Cupid makes them hide from each other; he denies them that special glance in the exact moment, but starts preparing for them what would be a story made by poets.
Forty years back, Natalio Caporale refused to recognize a child born out of wedlock with Josefina Montero. The boy was baptized Bruno and carried his mother's surname as a sign of being an illegitimate son. Natalio rejected Josefina up to humiliation. Her soul could not resist so much pain, and she committed suicide leaving behind young Bruno, now an orphan, full of hate and resentment towards his father and his descendants.
On the other side of the tree, Vittorio Caporale grew up absorbing the contempt against the Montero Family, who insisted on claiming what was theirs. This hate passed on from generation to generation.
One night, the hate underneath these young boys' skin exploits in a fight inside a disco and now not even an uncle's good efforts could stop what will come. Romeo and Julieta will get to know each other at school, where she will study during her last year. From that moment on, the battle between love and hate will begin having victims and supporters along the pupils.
If death would strike them, as this unfair history between Romeo and Julieta develops, we imagine they would be somewhere between clouds together again staring at each other indefinitely, while their hateful families cry their miseries on the ground. If we talk about life's victory, then we see them somewhere near a white sandy beach, beside the sea; like heaven on earth away from hate and swimming in their sea of love.
