After a young soldier Sergey is accidentally killed at the field training exercise his best friend Victor travels to Sergey's native village to console his mother:instead he falls hard for her. His love is reciprocated and despite all odds the ostracized lovers begin the struggle for their 'sinful' love condemned and rejected by the village people. Their split seems to be inevitable and the plight predetermined:but the true love knows no barriers.
