THE STORM
"La Tormenta"

Maria Teresa Montilla and Santos Torrealba live in completely different worlds and are totally incompatible. They will find that a fine line separates love from hate, although they will do everything possible to keep from falling in love with each other. It all begins when Maria Teresa, a businesswoman accustomed to life in the city, has to give up all her comforts and move to The Storm, an old plantation that belongs to her father. She must make the farm profitable as it is her only hope to save her family from bankruptcy.
She is completely certain that she will achieve her objective, as she usually does, but upon arriving at her destination she finds that it will not be easy. For her, the plantation is a strange, wild world, but the worst part is that she has to develop a relationship with the plantation's overseer, Santos Torrealba. A man from the country with a reputation as a womanizer and seducer, he clashes seriously with Maria Teresa from the very beginning.
The moment their eyes meet, it is obvious to both of them that they are too different to live under the same roof. But the more they try to keep their distance from one another, the more the passion between them intensifies. Thus, Maria Teresa and Santos get caught up in a stormy romance in which their mutual hatred gives way to the purest love that either of them has ever known.
