TU RIDI
Rome in the 1930s. Felice is a former comic-opera baritone with high hopes who has touched people's hearts forever from the stage. He lives a frustrated life of an accountant at the Teatro dell'Opera, and at night laughs, dreams and laughs: laughs: laughs. But he doesn't know why, he doesn't remember his dream. And when he remembers it. :Sicily, today. A 12 year-old-boyis kidnapped and kept by a gaoler in a strange, deserted mountain inn, on the lower slopes of Mount Barraro. Right on the top of that mountain, 100 years ago, another kidnap took place: Inspired by the characters of Luigi Pirandello, the film tells stories which, linked together by the red thread of violence, take place and open out; they link the wild Sicily of today with the mythical Sicily of yesterday; they pursue wretched heroes or tragic outcasts on the streets of Rome in the '30s; they recount love stories that have just begun; stories that take place in the dim light of the theatre or in the ligh of the Etruscan beaches.
