'Crimes' is a project involving eight famous Italian writers who have been asked to put into movies of 100 minutes each the extreme variety and fascination of some Italian local realities. Each writer has been asked to illustrate the territorial and environmental reality according to his personal inspiration, whether he tells about a big town or a small village in the mountains of Northern Italy where the most brutal crimes are strangely and mostly committed. Thus outlining an ideal path in nowadays Italy as it is seen by some of the most esteemed Italian writers: a country full of contradiction and mystery, heroism and misery, a country where the happy ending is not always granted but where Good doesn't necessarily loose.
